The first presentation of this glider was arranged at the World Glider Aerobatic Championships in Venlo, Netherlands 1993, where Jerzy Makula won the World Championship flying on FOX. Just after the Championships the promotion flights were arranged to enable top pilots to fly on the glider. Similar promotion action took place in Germany and Austria in October 1993. Over following years FOX also achieved many successes at other international sports events, for instance: first place in European Championships in Italy - 1994, second place in World Championships in France - 1995 and second place in World and European Chapionships in Hungary 1996.

HIGH PERFORMANCE AEROBATIC GLIDER
The two-seat MDM-l FOX glider was developed on base of design experiences acquired during work with KOBUZ, JANTAR and SWIFT S-1 gliders by the team of Edward Marganski M.Sc. (Eng.).
The design work was started in November 1992 and the first prototype was flown on 9th July 1993.
